Our local country pubs serving great food include; The Lunesdale Arms at Tunstall, the Highwayman at Burrow, The Fenwick seafood pub at Claughton and The Castle in Hornby, all are no more than a 3 minutes drive away. Further afield Kirkby Lonsdale boasts many pubs, restaurants and wine bars which include; The Sun Inn, The Royal Hotel, Plato’s, Avanti and the Snooty Fox to name but a few.
For those preferring not to drive, Local buses, albeit, not too frequent, go to Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Lancaster, you can fully enjoy days or nights out without worrying about driving or parking. We do offer our guests transport to and from local amenities, please just ask!
The Homestead offers two very spacious and comfortable double bedrooms with en suite or private facilities and one twin room with private facilities. Our guests can take breakfast in either our elegant dining or breakfast room and may use our Study Sitting room where they may plan their days, read, listen to music or simply relax.
